W/W Day at the Park!

Lately "Easy's" been OBSESSED with parks! I'm sure most kids are? But this kid... He has remembered where the ones we go to often are and if we pass them he freaks and whines. He screams, "slide, sandbox, shovel, kids, mommy back!" I try to explain to him that every time we go somewhere its not to a park. sheesh. Seriously, we go almost everyday. He's not deprived.

Living where we live (coastal sunny SoCal) we go to the beach often... at least a couple times a week. So obviously, sun safety is a concern for my family. Especially for my little guy. WW. This kids a dare devil!

Lately "Easy's" been jumping off EVERYTHING! So I taught him to put pillows down. I figure if he's gonna do it, he mine as well jump onto something soft. Its pretty funny, he throws one small pillow on the ground and goes for it!  I try to make the padding better for him as fast as I can. Gosh, this kid! I have to admit... I really do love it! hehe.

Can't say enough about this guy. My brother-in-law, Cameron Ingalls was recently at our house for the weekend and he took "Easy" away and snapped some more AMAZING pictures of him! I love these shots. My lil guy is really growing up. He sure is special. Please check out Cameron's work on his blog. He specializes in weddings and engagement sessions. Its a HUGE treat for him to photograph our bubbs as much as he does. Thanks Cam-Sauce! "Easy" loves his uncle saucy!

Wordless/ Wordful Wednesday. Petting Zoo!

We recently had a play date at a near by petting zoo and "Easy" LOVED it! He is so good with animals. Very gentle and loving. I'm a firm believer that especially little boys need a dog or animal at home. It teaches them to be kind. He pet rabbits, goats, cows, and went on a pony ride! Fun day.

I'm a coffee addict. Obsessed and need it. So needless to say, I spend many days in a coffee shop trying out different java drinks. I keep this cozy in my purse. I adore having it. Not only do I feel stylish, but I dont feel so wasteful. The littlest things count to help the environment. I dont have to use the coffee shop cardboard cozy and throw it away after!!!

It was a rainy day and "Easy" was getting restless so I set up his table in the garage and let him go to town! He loved painting and did WAY better than I imagined. He was very into it.

Palm Springs Weekend Getaway!

My lil sista got married last night to her best friend and most awesome guy! We love him and we are so excited! They're beautiful in every way. My brother-in-law, Cameron shot their engagement pictures recently and I just love them! Can't wait to see the wedding pictures he took last night. He's got mad talent! Check him out!!!

We had a blast at their amazingly beautiful wedding. More about that later... but I'm so jealous! They're on their way to Europe for their honeymoon as we speak!!! 

So a couple weekends ago my mom and I surprised my sister with a girls weekend getaway to Palm Springs! She NEEDED it. We all needed to relax, and boy was it! We had pina coladas poolside, fancy dinner out, drinks at a cheesy lounge, breakfast on the balcony, and massages! Ahhh... I wanna go back soon with the hubby! It was perfect. We bonded and had a great time. The goal was for her to relax during the crazy stressful time of planning a wedding. And it definitely helped.
