I am a Mom and a runner. As a former college track athlete I am determined to stay in shape. I love running. I love working out. I love pushing myself. This is how I keep my sanity and my true self. As a SAHM I am a little restricted having a toddler at home. I can't take off and run whatever distance I'd like. This boy and jogging stroller are getting heavy. But that doesn't mean I can't get good workouts in! No Excuses! This is my mantra! As a girl, I also love new and cute workout gear. I'm always on the lookout for the fun athletic stuff out there. So when I got the opportunity to pick a Words to Sweat By workout towel I was excited!!!! These motivational workout towels are so fun!
My thoughts on this towel: SO MUCH FUN! They're great quality, soft, and super cute! I love making a normal sweat towel fit your personality!! Like I said above, these are also such neat gifts. Very affordable and lots of sayings to match everyones humor.

I'm going to attempt to teach my toddler the alphabet. He will be 3 in May so I really want to make this fun. Not a chore. He is not, nor should be in school yet. Since I went to college to be a teacher myself I think I can handle this. Hehe. To avoid overwhelming him, I decided to have a letter of the week. We will spend the week doing crafts about this letter, learning about this letter, coloring/painting this letter, maybe even how to write this letter? We will see?
I will be using my PROJECT MONDAY to do this. I will share what we do throughout the week on Mondays. Feel free to join in and please share any activities you come up with! Grab the craft button, link up at the bottom, and get dirty with the kids. Its so much fun!

The other day it was an especially beautiful morning around here, so I decided to take the boy down to the harbor. I loaded him up in the jogger and went on a nice run (about a 3 mile loop). Ahhh... The fresh sea breeze and sunshine was amazing! EC loves watching the birds and checking out the boats. I let him play in the sand for a bit. He was such a happy boy! He loves the beach. We then found this neat pizza place we've never been too and got some lunch together. What a fantastic day with my little dude!

I'm always on the look out for healthy drinks. I don't even keep soda in the house unless we're having a party of some sort. I totally believe that us Mom's do the grocery shopping so we have the control of what our families eat. If you don't buy the junk, you wont eat it. Don't even keep it in your house. So I love coming across foods and drinks that are healthy AND yummy! Organic... even better! So naturally when I got the opportunity to try STEAZ ORGANIC ICED TEA I was curious and excited!
I was sent a case of their lightly sweetened organic teas -- Green Tea with Peach, White Tea with Lime and Pomegranate, and Green Tea with Blueberry Pomegranate Acai. What cool packaging too!I LOVED them!!!! They're all soooo good! They have a sweet and refreshing flavor to them, but at the same time not super sugary or too sweet. If you're an iced tea fan you will really love these Steaz teas! The flavors do not take over the iced tea flavor. They're all excellent! I'm now on the lookout for their products especially these delicious teas wherever I go. They sent me two of each flavor so the Hubs and I both got to sample them. He would take one to work and I'd keep the other flavor at home. Every day I'd ask him, "how'd you like the .... ?" and he would always respond, "they're sooo good!" Whoa! They got the hubs approval! That's huge! He's kinda a health freak so you know he reads the labels in detail before he would dare drink one! Ha. This is the guy who will not drink any carbonation or eat fast food.
Steaz is an organic fair trade tea company that believes in social responsibility and sustainability. Their iced teas are USDA Certified Organic and Fair Trade Certified, and come in 16 oz. fully recyclable aluminum cans. Also, Steaz Organic Iced Teaz are sweetened with 10g of pure cane sugar and are brewed without preservatives or additives.
These teas can be found at Whole Foods and Target. My most favorite place ever! I spend a lot of time (and money) at Target! So now I always make a point to pick them up when I see them because well...I'm hooked!

We had a rainy day last week with nothing to do, so I decided to take the boy to see "The Princess and the Frog." Just him and I. What a cute movie. His first movie theater experience was only 6 months ago and he's already changed so much. This time he sat through the whole movie with ease. It was stress free and so much fun!
