W/W My lil Swimmer!

This last weekend we were actually at home. It was an awesome weekend! The weather was perfect and we had a lot planned. For the first time this summer we took "Easy" out to the pool. He loved it! He did WAY better than I expected! He swimmed with us for over an hour. Now I'm even more excited for his swim classes to start up this Monday.

My boys.
(This picture makes me laugh. "Easy" looks so white compared to his tan daddy.)
Gotta love that smile.
"Easy" and Grandma.
This evening we went to pizza and then took "Easy" to his first movie theater experience! So much fun! Super cute pictures on that next time.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response." Summertime is my favorite time! Its our busiest time of the year. During the summer we're always on the go. Camping, wakeboarding, beach time, surfing, bonfires, bbq's, weekend get aways, bike rides, pool lounging, baseball games...We have a lot planned this summer and I'm excited!

My question:
What are your big summer plans?

Wateroos Review and GIVEAWAY!!!

Like many parents I'm always trying to avoid the amount of sugar my toddler gets. This includes juice filled with sugar. With how busy we are and constantly on the go, I'm finding it easy to throw juice boxes in the diaper bag. "Easy" loves them and they're so much easier. So when I found Wateroos I was stoked! It makes both baby and mommy happy! He gets his juice box and I get less sugar. Yeah! "Wateroos are fruit-flavored waters to be as delicious as possible without sugar or artificial ingredients!!!" These are awesome. The water is extremely filtered but there is not fluoride added to it. This is important to me. Its hard to find toddler water drinks without added fluoride.
The many reasons Wateroos rock:
  • NO SUGAR! All-natural with no sugar, no calories or artificial anything!
  • CONVENIENT! Chill‘em. Freeze‘em. A perfect drink while on-the-go.
  • GREAT TASTING! Wateroos is not sugary sweet like juices. It's water! So it may take a few tries for your kids to make the switch. Just think about how many times it took to get your child to eat veggies!
(This is true. The first try "Easy" did not like them. He was so used to the juice boxes loaded with sugar, which obviously tastes better. It only took two tries and he now drinks them up!)

Wateroos sent me an assortment of their many flavors, a hard case, and coupons! I especially love the hard case that came with them because "Easy" is known for squeezing his juice boxes. Its a huge pet peeve of mine.
Wateroos is going to make another Mommy very happy! They're giving away 2 six-packs of Wateroos, a Wateroo lunch cooler and 2 of their one-of-a-kind Wateroos drink box!!! Whoo-hoo! This is a big stash! To be eligible for this giveaway go to the Wateroos site and then comment on this blog post about the thing you like best about Wateroos. This is a must.

W/W Palm Springs Weekend!!

The hubby and I just celebrated our 5 year Anniversary. We went to Palm Springs for the weekend... CHILDLESS! It was awesome and complete relaxation. When we showed up they told us they upgraded our room to the Presidential Suite! Ballers! Haha... seriously, it was super nice. We lounged poolside with yummy drinks, soaked up the sun, went out to a nice dinner, went to the spa, and lounged some more. We had the best time enjoying each other's company. I love what we have. I love our friendship. I'm so in love. The weekend was perfect.

Sweet Words Tutu & Matching Hair Clip. Review & Giveaway!

So as most of you know, we have a toddler boy. That's all I know right now. Boy. Husband, male dog, and "Easy". But this doesn't mean I cant appreciate the cute girlie things. There are certain things that get me oohing and ahhing...and the new tutu fad is one of them! I think its absolutely adorable on a little girl! I love how tutu's have become fashionable to wear with a pair of leggings, and not just for dance anymore. What a cute trend!

When I got the opportunity to review Sweet Words tutu and matching hair clip I was curious and excited! I couldn't turn this down. It was just too darn cute and we do have plans to have another baby someday. I thought that maybe I'd give it away as a gift, but after it showed up at my door I fastly changed my mind. Its a keeper. Its gorgeous. Totally fun and girlie... and I'm so in love with it! I'm holding on to this. I was sent a brown and pink tutu and matching hair clip. The same one shown below. Pink and brown are so in right now too! Love it! This tutu is very well made. The waistband is sturdy and comfy, and the clip is darling! And besides that I love Etsy shops. Show these handmade products some love.

How it works:
This listing is for a 'YOU DESIGN IT-Sweet Tutu.' Have your little girl choose her own colors, and know that she customized it all on her own. Or choose colors for her, and surprise her with a colorful Sweet Tutu & Matching Clippie! Their sizes range from 3 months to 9 years old. Follow these steps for your custom made tutu!

The awesome part. Sweet Words is giving one lucky reader a customized Tutu and matching hair clip! You get to pick your own colors. You must visit the Sweet Words Etsy Shop, browse around, and leave a comment telling me another item that you like. This is a must to be eligible for the contest. Make sure to leave an email address with the first comment.

W/W Strawberry Picking!

On one of our trips up to the central coast we all went strawberry picking at a local organic farm. The strawberries are way cheaper if you pick them yourselves and its fun. This farm is completely pesticide free too! "Easy" loved it. He literally walked up and down the isles picking and eating strawberries. With my loot I made a whole bunch of homemade jam with my Mother-in-Law for the first time. It turned out yummy!

I can't believe it! Its our 5 year anniversary! Love you babe more than ever! I couldn't be happier and this post would be ridiculously long if I even tried to explain why I love this man. We're heading off to Palm Springs for the weekend...WITHOUT THE BOY! Whaa-Hoo. Ready for some relaxation, pina coladas poolside, and quality time with the hubs. We wanted to make this anniversary extra special. 5 years is big milestone. (wow...we looked so young)
My question:
What's your favorite way you've celebrated an anniversary?

We're at the central coast visiting with our family. We have a lot of festivities planned. We always do. The plan so far is to do some strawberry picking at a local farm, dinner out, and a huge BBQ party tomorrow with a bounce house and all! Well, we woke up this morning to a lot of rain. It looks like its going to clear up, but in the mean time we have lots of munchkins to entertain. Thinking we're gonna run to the store and get supplies for crafts and baking. With so many Lil boys in the family I'm sure there is some puddle stomping to be had.
My question:
How do you keep your kids entertained during rainy days?

CuteyBaby Removable Decals Review and Giveaway (two winners!)

I've been wanting to do some sort of mural/art design on "Easy's" wall for awhile now, but I'm sooo not creative. I think it really makes a room pop. I love the personalized feel it gives. So when I got the opportunity to review removable decals I thought... PERFECT! This should be easy for me. I didn't want the cheesy, small, just looks like stickers decals. I wanted the look of art work. When I got the opportunity to try out CuteyBaby's decals I was very excited! Her designs are adorable and big! When I told her "Easy's" theme was beachy/tropical she said that she doesn't have that theme yet, but she will design some just for his room! WOW! How cool and kind is that? I sent her a picture of "Easy's" bedding and oh my goodness, she is awesome... the decals match perfectly!

"Ada Vaughan wanted to come up with an affordable and fast way to bring bold graphic design to the nursery. CuteyBaby Wall Decals are the result! For parents who want to be creative, but hesitate to paint a mural due to its permanence, Wall Decals are ideal. CuteyBaby has original designs that bring a fun, graphic, and modern look to your child’s room. Plus - you can remove and reuse them without damaging your walls or furniture."

When I received the decals I was very impressed. These are NOT the small, cheap decals. Oh no. These are thick, awesome quality, and adorable! And the best part... super easy to apply. Ada sent me one sheet of decals ($50.00 value). I unrolled the sheet and seriously just wiped down the walls and stuck them on. I'm so happy with the results. I didn't realize how bare his walls looked before with out them. I think it makes his room look awesome! Check out these before and after pictures. Super cute!

W/W Cowboy!

"Easy" loves to play dress up. He pulls out his bottom dresser drawer and likes me to help him try on all his shoes, hats, gloves, etc. I'm slowly collecting different costumes for him to play with. He put this one together all by himself. He found his cowboy boots and immediately asked for his cowboy hat and horsie! I love his lil imagination!

Stinkin' adorable!

"Easy's" B-Day Week Part II

The hubby and I started a tradition where he takes the day off work on "Easy's" actual birthday and we take him somewhere fun. He got a brownie for breakfast which he calls "Happy Cakes" (he's obsessed with everything birthday right now... oops.) We let him open our presents. And then headed off to Sea World for the day. We had his birthday party this last weekend. It was a blast! Post on that soon.

We've been waiting to take "Easy" to Sea World to go on his birthday. We wanted to make the experience special. They have an awesome deal right now. When you buy an adult ticket its good all year. So glad we have season passes now. The boy LOVED it! I knew he would, but he really LOVED it. I'm so excited to spend the day there with him again. He was such a good boy, so much fun, and even took a 2 1/2 hour nap in his stroller! He doesn't even sleep that long at home, most of the time.

His was so excited. Loves this race car track!

Passed out on the way THERE.
Watching the dolphin show. So serious.

Eating lunch with the Sea Turtles.
The hubs and I.
Thinks this is hilarious. I'm his "mommy horsey"
But this is his favorite way to get around...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY!
