Glamourmom Nursing Tank Review & Giveaway!

Because this is not my first rodeo, I know that finding good nursing garments is near impossible. I nursed EC until he was about 13 months old and there was nothing more frustrating than trying to find shirts that are comfortable, cute, and easy to nurse in...Let alone supportive! I've been eye balling the Glamourmom tanks for a while because I noticed that they fit all these concerns.

"Glamourmom's original nursing bra tanks and tops feature a built-in nursing bra that offers superior breast support and tummy coverage for discretion. Get fit, function, and fashion combined in one! Its a nursing bra. Its a tank top. Its a camisole."

I received the Glamourmom® Nursing Bra Long Tank in Jade Mist and LOVE it for so many reasons!!!

Some features that I love:
  • Its soft and very comfortable! Its made out of 92 % cotton and 8 % elastane.
  • Its long! This is one of my most favorite features! I love how you can layer it or wear by its self. Because its so long it offers great coverage and cover up. There is nothing worse then post baby and nursing in public worrying about your tummy hanging out.
  • Has major support! With the built in bra. This is one of the features that I notice is better than other brand nursing tops.
  • Easy front snaps. This is a given when nursing... a must!
  • Options! This tank comes in tons of cute colors!
I would definitely consider these tanks a Mommy-Momo Maternity Must Have!!! I plan on getting a few in different colors. They're a must have basic for not only every nursing moms wardrobe, but I'm also loving to wear it now. Its super comfortable to wear at the beginning stages of my pregnancy. They're thick enough so you can wear them by them selves in the warm summer months, or perfect for layering. With this next baby I'm going to love having this tank to wear under my sweaters and shirts. Because the built in bra is so supportive thats all I'll need to wear under! I love it!!

W/W SD Wild Animal Park!

Living in So-Cal we have heard great things about the San Diego Wild Animal Park, but have yet to go...until a couple weeks ago. We went with our family and had a blast! I very much preferred the Wild Animal Park over the Zoo any day! It was really nice to see the animals with more room to wonder. This park is beautiful with lots to do. We had a fantastic day and will be back soon. Here is some pictures from our day...

Cookbook REVIEW & GIVEAWAY!!!

My Aunt Pam has always been known as the entertainer of the family. She's an excellent cook and knows how to put on a spread! Within the last few years, her and my uncle down sized, sold their house, and now live full time in a motor home. They travel up and down the coast, doing what they love. The challenge of a smaller kitchen didn't stop her from cooking at all. I think it sparked her creativity even more. First she started a blog: From my motor home to yours. On her blog she shares her yummy recipes. Check it out! People have been telling her forever that she should start a cookbook and she FINALLY did!! Whoo-hoo I'm so proud of her!

The thing I love about this cookbook is that all the recipes are very easy to understand and make. There are over 150 recipes and she breaks them up into different chapters. Its loaded with colorful pictures and practical tips. I love how she takes some classics and makes them her own. Very creative! One recipe that is in her cookbook is her chicken wings. Oh my... they're to die for (as she would say...hehe)!

You can purchase her cookbook: From my motor home to yours, for $15.00. But check out this deal... if you leave a comment on this post you can purchase the book for $10.00!!! That's a steal! Just tell her your coming over from Mommy-Momo.

The GIVEAWAY!!!

In honor of my Aunt Pam's very hard work of finally putting most of her recipes together and in a book for all to enjoy we're also giving one away to one of my readers! I'm very excited about this!!! W/W Easter Weekend Recap!

The Hubs had a few days off around Easter so it was so nice to be at home and celebrate Easter in our new house. We usually travel a lot for holidays and it was very relaxing to stay home for once. The Friday before Easter we took EC to a local church Eggstravaganza! Oh my, it was so much fun! There was bounce houses, face painting, food, crafts, drinks, LATTES, and huge Easter egg hunts all split up by appropriate age... all for free! We had a blast.

Then on Easter Sunday my family (Mom, Step dad, Brother, Sister, and Bro-in-law) all came to our house for a BBQ. It was so much fun to entertain at our new place. I barely took any pictures. We were having to much fun :)

Zippity Doo Children's Hair Products Review & Giveaway!

For a portion of our lives my sister and I lived with my Dad, who at the time was in the Air force. We were stationed in Guam for the majority of my elementary school years. I'm not sure if this was a common practice here in the states? But, in Guam I remember doing routine lice checks in the nurses office. From what I hear lice is highly contagious. Thank goodness neither one of us ever got it, but we knew enough kids who did to know its a pesky and annoying problem! Now as a Mom myself, I don't look forward to worrying about lice spreading to my little guy once he goes to school. Not fun! So when MomSelect invited me to try the Zippity Doo children's haircare products that also prevents lice I was very interested!

Zippity Doo’s™ children’s hair care products are mild enough for daily use, provide health benefits to the hair and scalp while helping prevent lice infestation.

Zippity Doo sent us their entire line of hair products which included:
  • Zippity Doo's Shampoo for children
  • Zippity Doo's Conditioner for children
  • Zippity Doo's Leave-in-Detangler for children (love this!)
  • Zippity Doo's Styling Gel for children
  • Zippity Doo's Shield Spray for children

Although my little guy doesn't go to school yet, its still a great product to have on hand! Not only do these products come in fun colors and packaging, but they also smell great. They don't smell medicated at all! The shampoo and conditioner is great to use during his normal bath routine and the fact that it also prevents lice is a major added bonus!!! I also love the detangler! My boy has longer hair and often times he wakes with gnarly bed head so this stuff comes in handy!! The Zippity Doo hair products are great to keep in the home and more than that I will for sure be on the look out for them in stores if we ever have a nasty lice problem here. Here is the list of stores that carry Zippity Doo products. Crossing fingers that prevention is the key!

THE GIVEAWAY!!!

I'm very excited to be able to offer one my reader's the chance to win the entire line of Zippity Doo's children's hair products!!! The same set that I reviewed.

All you have to do is visit ZippityDoo.com and tell me which product you are most excited to try. With your first comment also make sure you leave your email address to contact the winner.
