Thousand Words Thursday. Coloring Easter Eggs!
Today was a cozy/lazy day. I was trying to think of a craft to do in the house that would keep "Easy" busy. I decided to get all the makings and attempt to dye Easter eggs with him for his first time! I was a bit hesitant and worried he'd stain something with the dye. But he did SOOO good! After showing him the technique he totally understood what to do.
The set up before things got messy.
Sitting patiently. Waiting to color eggs!
What a big boy. I imagined a disaster. haha
The finished eggs. He's VERY proud of them! What fun!

Wow, what a setup! You make me look so lazy. I wasn't even going to get P-man an Easter basket and my older sis got so upset at the thought that she sent us one for him. Hehe.
What a big boy! I need to suck it up and let my kids make a mess!
I am so glad to see that it went well. We will be attempting to dye eggs on Friday with Monkey and I have been a little worried.
We are doing that tomorrow... though I saw an awesome post today about dying eggs with silk ties... sounds lame but adorable!!
You are a daring mommy! I am waiting this out one more year... I am just not ready! :)
Very cute, and what a talented boy! Sometimes we just have to risk mess to make beautiful memories. I love coloring eggs with my daughter, and was happy when she wanted to buy a kit yesterday. She is 12, and I thought she might be "over" it.
They turned out great .. I bet he had tons of fun! My 7 year old has been BEGGING to dye eggs but I'm mean and am making her wait until Saturday!
They look great! SMART to do it without a shirt. I think I'll do a few with shirt for some pics..and then take it off! I THINK we're going to do this tonight or tomorrow...wish us luck! :)
I have to admit I did not have the daring to let my girls do this at such a young age. You were very organized. Happy Easter!
Very nice. I'm always so afraind of a big dye mess.
How fun!
I LOVE starting those traditions...looks like he had great fun!
Oh we tried with Little One and he was not interested at all. LOL. I love the pics though Easy is just tooo cute.

That looks like fun! I'm getting ready to do the same with Alex. YAY!
How cute! He did a great job and he was so neat. I'm impressed! We are going to do ours tomorrow I think. I can't wait! It should be interesting because whenever the G-man sees eggs he says "Oh balls!".
I'm so glad that we don't color our own eggs! lol
My ATWT
So cute!! So, how much dye did he get on his chest and tummy?
wow he did a great job, my boys used to have it everywhere, he was so cute on the swing at the party
I LOVE that you took his shirt off. That was smart Momo!
Looks like a lot of fun!
how cute!! he did do a great job! :)
What a handsome boy! And so talented!
Love how you have it all set up to avoid potential disasters - I hadn't thought of covering the table with a towel! He did an awesome job! Princess Nagger is looking forward to decorating eggs tomorrow or Saturday...I've been kind of stalling because of the potential mess, but I really like your set up! :)
i so love you guys! he looks so cute dyeing eggs....shirtless. just like his daddy does. hehe
We did this today and also avoided disaster!!!! Too cute!!!
Aw! He did so good!!
We are doing that tonight and I cannot wait :) Cami was tired when we did it last year, so i'm ready to try again.
he did better than my crew! they spilt more dye than they colored with.
they turned out super cute...good for you though for stripping him down...he looks like he had a great time...
